You know that place with the burgers and the girl with the red hair on their signs? Yeah… Honestly? What the fuck?

So let’s start with this little tidbit of knowledge:

The Fair Food Program (FFP) is an Act that basically ays that a company is not going to buy their food from farms that abuse their workers!!

I’m talking about the farmer women.
I’m talking about the women who have to go day-to-day to work in HARSH conditions, for a LONG time, for a SMALL pay, who get REGULARLY SEXUALLY AND PHYSICALLY ABUSED as if that’s a NORMAL THING.
I’m talking about the GARBAGE FARMERS on their GARBAGE FARM that GARBAGE COMPANIES will buy their GARBAGE FOOD from.

Can you tell I’m a little heated about this? Maybe because it’s disgusting.

Anyways…

The FFP is an Act that food companies can join that has PROVEN to help the conditions and safety of farmer women… And SOME companies (COUGH COUGH WENDY’S COUGH WHEEZE) don’t find value in worker’s rights - human rights.

A bunch of big companies like McDonald’s, Subway, Taco Bell, Whole Foods, and more have already signed on to be a part of the FFP.

So there are plenty of alternatives to Wendy’s.

Wendy’s, on the other hand, has NOT agreed to be a part of the program, and CONTINUES to support the daily abuse of hundreds of thousands of women, some of which have kids! KIDS!

They will come home crying, hurt, and exhausted every day, and they can’t do a thing about it. They will only be more abused, worked harder, and given less money (which is illegal!)

And Wendy’s seems to be all for that, I guess.

“But… Why? Why would they do such a thing?”

Money.
To make a few extra dollars.
As if their corporation isn’t already rich from the bountiful pockets of their blissfully ignorant customers.
That’s cool.
Okay.
Whatever.
Ugh.
Luckily for you, you are now significantly more knowledgable, and you have the choice to support Wendy’s, AKA the abuse of women, or just walk a few more blocks and find a McDonald’s.

All in all… Wendy’s can go fuck themselves.
