We seek quality submissions of fiction, non-fiction, and poetry. We also encourage contributions of high-quality coverage of events and culture in and around the Ohio State University.

Contributors will receive a $25 honorarium within two weeks of being accepted, and will be featured in the annual print edition of AROUSE Magazine.

We are open to submissions from the first of September to the first of May for our web content, and from the first of September to the fifteenth of March for our print magazine.

Simultaneous submissions are accepted, but please inform us of this when you submit. Content published with AROUSE may be published elsewhere as permitted.

Unless otherwise directed, please send all submissions to arouseosueditors@gmail.com. Indicate the genre of your submission in the subject line of your email — for example, if submitting articles, write [Article]. Submissions that violate this format will be rejected. Questions about our policies can be directed to our email.

Don’t be intimidated — we want your writing. Send us your article, and we’ll work with you. We encourage interested writers to reach out to us to collaborate on pitches.
